Stormskerry Maja chose Buster

Stormskerry Maja – In Finnish ”Myrskyluodon Maija and in Swedish ”Stormskärs Maja” – tells the story of Maja, who with her husband Janne faces life's challenges and adversities on a remote island in the 19th century. 

Finns know Maija's story from the six-part television series from 1976 and especially remember the impressive theme song composed by Lasse Mårtenson. Last year, Tiina Lymi directed a Swedish-language historical drama film based on the original story of Anni Blomqvist's books. Immediately after its premiere, the film has achieved huge popularity among both the audience and film critics. The Swedes Amanda Jansson and Linus Troedsson play the main roles in the film.
